What we collect
When you join a restaurant's loyalty list through Boomerang Table, we collect your phone number, the date you joined, a record of which consent wording you agreed to, your visit history at that restaurant, and any offers you've redeemed. We don't ask for your name, email, or any other personal details unless the restaurant collects them separately.
How we use it
Your phone number and activity data are used to send you loyalty and marketing text messages on behalf of the specific restaurant you joined — things like welcome offers, rewards, and deals. We use your visit and redemption history to figure out which offers to send and when (for example, a “come back” offer if it's been a while since your last visit). We do not use your data for any restaurant other than the one you signed up with.
We don't sell your data
We do not share or sell mobile phone numbers or opt-in data with third parties for their marketing purposes. Boomerang Table does not sell, rent, or share your phone number or activity data with third parties for their own marketing purposes. Your data is shared only with the restaurant you joined (so they can run their own loyalty program) and with the service providers that make text messaging work (like our SMS carrier, Twilio), strictly to deliver those messages.
Opting out
You can stop receiving messages from a restaurant at any time by replying STOPto any text from them. This immediately unsubscribes you from that restaurant's messages. Reply HELP for help, and the restaurant will get back to you with support. Message and data rates may apply. Message frequency varies by restaurant and by how often they choose to send deals — some months you may get several texts, other months none.
How long we keep it
We keep your consent record, visit history, and message history for as long as the restaurant uses Boomerang Table, so they can maintain an accurate loyalty program and honor your opt-out status. If you'd like your data deleted, contact us using the email below.
